Shaheen Javed nominated as President of United Media Forum

Al-Riyadh – Renowned journalist and prominent media personality Shaheen Javed has been nominated as the President of United Media Forum. This decision was taken unanimously in the central committee meeting of the forum, which was attended by prominent representatives of the media and journalism community, as well as the Pakistan community.

Shaheen Javed has been selected for the post because of her journalistic services, bold comments and her long-standing stand for media freedom. Speaking at the event, the community members and forum members congratulated Shaheen and said that as the president, She is expected to play an important role in solving the problems of the Pakistani community in coordination with the Embassy of Pakistan and also in solving other problems.

During her address at the event, Shaheen Javed highlighted the challenges and responsibilities of the media and said, in today’s era, the role of freedom of journalism and responsible reporting is more important than ever. I will work with all my abilities to solve community problems and promote journalism.
