Islamabad 30th June 2021 : Altaf Ahmed Bhat takes Charge as President of CBR Employees Cooperative Housing Society Islamabad.
After winning the CBR Cooperative Housing Society Management Committee elections and notification, Altaf Ahmed Bhat took over Charge as the President of the society.
Upon arrival at the Society Office, Residents, Members, society staff and dignitaries welcomed President Altaf Ahmed Bhat.
On this occasion, the newly elected President of the Society Altaf Ahmed Bhat once again thanked the residents and members for rejecting the negative propaganda and electing them with huge votes. “We will work collectively and we have designed inclusive policies for the betterment of the Society,” he said.
My habit and training are that I do not offend anyone, I have taken the charge as President with the determination to solve the problems of the residents on a priority basis. Work is being done on street lights, other problems will also be solved together. Even before the election, we had pledged in front of all that in Phase II, Plots will be given to the members within a year in the blocks where the land was short. President Bhat added.
He further said that, In many of our blocks in Phase 2, houses can still be built today. Members can start building their dream houses anytime. There is a NOC for Phase One. Altaf Ahmed Bhat said, adding that we have a desire and an effort to make CBR Phase II an unparalleled society in Rawalpindi-Islamabad, for which our team is working. Instead of opposing for the sake of opposition, we have to focus on our work and the solution of the problems of the members so that we can meet the expectations of the members.
As a team leader and president of the society, I request friends to come together and nurture the CBR society, make it more beautiful. He said that those who have won are our part and those who have lost or become ineligible for any reason will also be by our side in the development of CBR.
We have to team up and shape society into a beautiful Garden. He suggested that we do not have to make a mistake. If we make a mistake, the members should point it out and we will correct it right away. President Bhat added.
Altaf Ahmed Bhat thanked Chief Commissioner Amir Ali Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqat, Circle Registrar Mazhar Ali for holding the long-pending society elections in a peaceful and transparent manner.
He also appreciated the efforts of AC Rural Zakhraf Fida Malik and Additional Deputy Commissioner General Rana Waqas in arranging security.
