Ambassador Afzaal Mahmood received silver Award in Large and XL Pavilions, Interior Design category for Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2020 .
The Award was given by Bureau International des Expositions in a ceremony held on 30th March 2022. BIE celebrated the award ceremony in the evening at Jubilee Stage, Expo 2020 Dubai. During the event the official participant awards were announced. A jury of nine experts in their respective fields visited each international pavilion at Expo 2020 over the course of 6 months twice, once in January and then March 2022. A total of 51 Gold, Silver and Bronze awards were given to participants based on the five different categories.
