Jammu and Kashmir Voice of Victims (JKVoV) a human rights organisation on Friday handed over the first consigment of food and medicines to Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRSC) for the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).
Secretary General PRCS Khalid Bin Majeed received the consignment from Chairman JKVoV Altaf Ahmad Bhat in presence of Incharge Sweet Home Zumarud Khan, Secretary National Press Club Anwar Raza and other notables at PRCS headquarters.
On the occasion Chairman JKVoV Bhat said for the last 32 days whole valley is running out of food shortage and there is no medicine available in medical stores and hospitals.
” Children are crying for milk and patients have no access to life saving drugs”, Bhat added.
He appealed the people of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir AJK to drop the medicines and food items at nearst PRCS office in their localities for incarcerated people of IoK.
“It is time for the world community to come farward and and lift curfew in IoK so food items can be sent there through Internation Red Cross (IRC)” , accusing India of committing genocide in IoK Bhat said this time we need to support our brothers and sisters in the caged Kashmir Valley.
The chairman JKVoV Bhat hoped that the PRCS will deliver the food consignments to IoK people through international humanitarian organisations to save the children and ailing aged people in IoK.
The PRCS Secretary General Khalid Bin Majeed said that they will hand the all food consignments to IRC. ” We will also try to raise the humanitarian crisis emerged in IoK since August 5 with the international humanitarian bodies and urge them to come forward for the help of oppressed people,” Majeed added.
Incharge Sweet Home Zumarud Khan said people of Pakistan are with IoK brothern and this hard time will also pass saying they will go to any extent for the people of IOK.
